Week #8 Part A : How to Expand Your Reach on Instagram by Using Hashtags
This week : Instagram with Hashtags.
In this week, I researched some similar business on Instagram about hashtags.
1. UPS : https://www.instagram.com/ups
I looked at UPS. I think that they use instagram effectively. Often, they include #UPS on their posts. They have followers of 147k. They don't posts everyday but post 1~3 posts per days sometimes. About content, they get any response from other people almost equally. Original UPS truck posts were mostly high response. The last post was 14 October 2021 at 12:00 pm. What is the proportion of followers in relation to the number of likes they receive on a typical post? It was low and I don't think they get many comments. As a beginner to use " Hashtags ", I notice that it it definitely better too add it on posts in a business.
2. ヤマト運輸 : https://www.instagram.com/yamato_transport
This is Japanese well known company exist in Japan. This company focus on delivery to home. This was my first time I saw their account and I felt that it was look quit effective because there was a post about how to use the app. They explained so easily about app and how to receive their stuffs. They used #ヤマト運輸, which means that it is their company name. They have 46k follows and they post every 3 days. They get nothing about response and comments from posts. The last post was 3 days ago.
3. Quick Premier Delivery Services : https://www.instagram.com/quickpremierdelivery/?hl=en
This is a local company called Quick Premier Delivery Services. It doesn't look like it is running anymore. They don't use hashtags a lot but use a few on their posts. The latest post was
4. Uber Eats : https://www.instagram.com/ubereats/
Well known company, Uber Eats. I think that some pictures on the posts might be effective for promotions. It was quit unexpected that Uber Eats most likely don't use hashtags, not even #Uber. They have 524k followers and don't post last 7 days. Mostly, they get like and comments more than average. The proportion of followers in relation to the number of likes they receive on a typical post is low I think.
